Joining a session by calling
We do not recommend joining a Collaborate session via calling. There will be costs for the caller and Diak is not responsible for paying any extra expenses that may occur. Also, when dialing into a session, a user may not see the shared files and is not able to use any other functions during the session. The dial-in feature will only transfer the audio of the current speaker.
You may, however, connect into a Collaborate session by dialing in the number found in the Collaborate session settings. Open the Collaborate panel (right hand corner at the bottom of the screen) and find the number in the Settings tab. The number will appear when you open up the Audio and Video Settings.
Dial the number, wait for a response and then insert the PIN-code given, followed by a hashtag.
The number used is a Helsinki-based line, so the costs will occur according to the local operators.
