Creating a new schedule
Instead of a fully automatic schedule, you can also compile your own custom schedule from reservations.
- Go to the Calendar admin view.
- Under the Calendars list, select Add new calendar.
- Enter a name for the schedule (e.g., spring2026) and select Save.
- You can find the new timetable in the Schedule dropdown menu at the top of the page.
You can add the reservations you want to your new schedule. Note that you cannot add content to the automatic timetable. On the Calendar page, you can add realizations, groups, and locations to your created schedule.
Note! If you want to delete a schedule, please be aware that the profram does not ask for confirmation before deletion. A deleted schedule cannot be restored.
You cannot delete the default schedule or the automatic schedule.
Adding pre-defined sets of reservations to the schedule
You can add pre-defined sets of reservations to your schedule by going to the Calendar admin page and selecting the + button in the top right corner of the Index panel. You can add the following types of reservation sets to your schedule:
- Events of my realizations – reservations related to realizations in which you are enrolled.
- Events of my groups – reservations linked to the student group(s) you belong to.
- Events of my groups that are not realizations – reservations not directly related to a specific implementation (e.g. general exam days).
You can view a saved schedule by selecting the desired schedule form the drop-down menu.

Setting a default schedule
You can set one of your saved schedules or Lukkarikone’s automatic timetable as your default schedule. The default schedule opens automatically when you log in to Lukkarikone.
- Go to the Calendar Admin view.
- Next to the schedule name, select > Choose as default schedule.
Sharing a schedules Calendar link
You can sync your schedule with, for example, your Google or iCloud calendar.
- At the top of the page, select Index > Share Calendar, or go to the Calendar Admin view and next to the timetable name, select > Create share link.
This will generate an iCal link. - Copy the link and add it to the calendar of your choice. The shared schedule will update in your calendar according to the intervals you have set.
If you want to stop syncing the calendars, select Remove Calendar Share from the same menu.
