Resetting the My desktop-page to default

The December 2017 update brought a new and easy-to-use Desktop page into Moodle. If you have used your old Desktop-page in Moodle, you should consider resetting it into the new default.

The new My desktop-page includes:

  • the calendar which shows all upcoming timed actions, events and assignment deadlines in your Moodle courses (in a monthly view)
  • list of all to-do assignments (either timeline view or course-based view)

You can edit the desktop page according to your own requirements, but the default page is designed to help you to get access to all the undone work with one glimpse.

How do I reset the My desktop-page?

1. After logging in to Moodle click on the My desktop-link on the front page.

2. On the top part of My desktop-page click on the Customize this page-button.

3. Then click on the appearing Reset page to default-button.

4. Now you should have the default My desktop-page available.
