Electronically signed certificates for students
Diak has acquired the Atomi-service that enables students to both independently order certificates with electronic signatures and receive a wider selection of electronically signed certificates from the study office.
To verify the signatures the service uses a certificate issued by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV, formerly VRK). The user and the recipient of the electronically signed certificate can easily validate the authenticity and immutability of the document by using f. ex. the validation service available freely on Diak's website.
In documents produced with the Atomi-service, the traditional signature is replaced by an electronic signature (or e-signature). The signer on the documents is Diak and there are no personal signatures by f. ex. student affairs assistants.
For self-service through the print service Diak has provided these documents
- Study Certificate (in Finnish and in English)
- Transcript of Records (in Finnish and in English)
In addition, our study office can provide the following documents with an e-signature
- Certificate of Acceptance (in Finnish and in English)
- PSP-printout (in Finnish and in English)
- Course Certificate (in Finnish)
- TE Office form TEM621: Report by the Education Service Provider (in Finnish)
- Local government pilots on employment form KK621: Report by the Education Service Provider (in Finnish)
Using the print service in short
- Diak's students use the print service independently for downloading self-service certificates (Study Certificate and Transcript of Records).
- For Diak's students, certificates not available as self-service will be sent by the study office to the print service for downloading.
- If an individual does not have access to MyDiak (f. ex. before the beginning of studies or after their end), the study office will send an email with a link for downloading the certificate.
The self-service printing is available in MyDiak 24/7. Read the instructions and order your transcript of records whenever you want it!
