Students' enrollment with a course key
Learn how to enroll into courses using course keys. Course keys are sent by the teacher via email. Each course has a different course key, and you need each course key only once.
After logging in, roll down on the front page to see the links below the image. Click All Courses.
In the category view, you may use the search box: search the course by name or short code and press Go. Alternatively, you may navigate to the subcategories (for example choose International master's degrees and furthermore a subcategory for your programme). Each subcategory has past, ongoing and upcoming semesters. Choose the right semester and then you'll see a list of available courses.
1. Check that you are searching for courses in the right (sub)category.
2. Open up the semester category.
3. Courses which are opened up for student enrollment have a small key icon next to the course title. If there is no icon visible, it means the teacher hasn't set the course enrollment yet.
Click on the course name/title. The course description page opens up.
1. Below the title, cover image and the description there is a box for the enrollment key. Type in the key which you have received via email. Do not copy paste the course key, as it may accidentally contain additional spaces and thus the course key is wrong.
2. Pressing enter is not enough, you need to scroll down a bit and click on the Enrol Me-button below the teachers' names.
The course overview page opens up once the enrolment is completed.
3. From now on, you may access the course on your My courses-page.
Course keys are case sensitive, so make sure you check your spelling and possible autocorrections.
